Submitting a Warranty Claim with OCDetailing
All warranty claims for ceramic coatings, PPF, or window tint must be submitted through OC Detailing’s Warranty Support. Each claim is assigned a support ticket number—keep this number for reference. To process your claim quickly, include photos or videos of the issue with your initial submission.
Claims related to product performance must be reported within 30 days of the issue. Any repair, reapplication, or additional work must be performed by an authorized installer after approval from OC Detailing and/or the product manufacturer.
WARRANTY DOCUMENTS
OCDetailing (“the Company”) expressly warrants to the original vehicle owner that all professionally installed window tint films are free from defects in materials and workmanship for the life of your vehicle from the date of installation (the “Warranty Period”). This Limited Warranty applies only to tint films installed by OCDetailing following manufacturer and industry-standard procedures.
Coverage and Remedies
If your window tint film fails due to a manufacturing defect—such as discoloration, fading, bubbling, peeling, cracking, or delamination—OCDetailing will, at its discretion:
Reapply or replace the defective tint film, or Refund the original cost of the film.
All labor for reinstallation must be performed by an authorized OCDetailing installer. Remedies under this Limited Warranty are limited to the original product cost. Any replaced or repaired film remains under the original Warranty Period and does not extend or renew coverage.
Claim Submission
To submit a warranty claim for your window tint film:
Use OCDetailing Warranty Support to file your claim. A support ticket number will be issued—retain it for reference.Include photos or videos showing the defect with your initial submission to ensure the fastest resolution. Notify OCDetailing within 30 days of discovering the issue.
Transfer of Warranty
This Limited Warranty is transferable to a new vehicle owner only if proof of the original installation date is provided. Coverage transfers for the remainder of the original Warranty Period.
Exclusions
This warranty does not cover defects or damage caused by:
Improper installation, handling, or maintenance;
Exposure to harsh chemicals or extreme environmental conditions;
Accidental damage, vandalism, collision, or glass manufacturer defects;
Minor scratches, water spots, or cosmetic imperfections;
Use of the film outside of automotive applications.
Limitation of Liability
OCDetailing’s sole obligation under this warranty is repair, replacement, or refund of the defective film. The Company is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
